POINTS OF INTEREST
On the island's eastern tip (near the now-closed refinery), this semicircular beach borders a placid bay of turquoise water that's just about as shallow as a wading pool—perfect for families with little ones. A small coral reef basin at the sea's edge offers superb snorkeling, but do not pass the barrier as the current is extremely strong outside of the rocks. The JADS dive shop offers snorkel and dive rentals, and their full-service bar and restaurant also offers a shower and washrooms, a small children's playground, and a new infinity pool. Amenities: food and drink; clamshell shade rentals. Best for: snorkeling; swimming; walking.
